Here's a picture of the box that I made for a ventilator fan. It took me most of yesterday afternoon to make and then to fit it. My hole-saw was 108mm big and the pipe I was trying to put in the hole was 110mm; 2mm makes a big difference. I ended up enlarging the hole using a drill-saw bit; it's made for using side-ways (like some people try to do with a regular bit). If you haven't ever used one of these you should try one, they're pretty neat.
